  1. Bill Schulz said he is making a surprising future guest announcement on his show today (Wednesday). I really think it is going to be Gutfeld.

Here were some of his tweets from Tuesday night:
“I must remember most @TheCumiaShow fans don’t know what #RedEye is. But for those that do? I will have an insane announcement tomorrow.”
“Think about the LAST g****** guest you would expect on my dumb show…”
“Said mystery guest is not on tomorrow. But I will announce that he or she is going to be coming on. And it makes my mind melt.”

Last week, on a Facebook Live video that Perino was doing, Greg said he had watched Bill’s new show and was complementary. (11:00 in)

There was a quick moment in his Tuesday episode where someone mentioned a clip of Greg (presumably that Facebook clip) and Bill said he was saving it for an announcement.

So, I’m not sure who it could be other than Greg.

Next month will mark four years since Bill’s final episode of Red Eye as well as his last appearance on-air with Gutfeld.

    • It indeed is Greg.

Bill said Greg told him that he would be willing to do it if Fox gave the okay and Fox has already done so. Now he just needs Greg to tell him when he will appear.

It sounds like he will probably be able to get more Fox people because Fox also gave the okay for Rick Leventhal to appear.

      • Now if Bill can get Andy on his show, too, that would be incredible. But I don’t think that will ever happen. Just my opinion, but I think there’s bad blood between Bill and Andy.

      • Like Bill said on today’s show – he would have no show if it weren’t for Red Eye guests. Today he had Samantha Judge (from the VERY early RE days) and Matt Welch.

  2. Think NBC will renew Megyn’s contract when it is up? I think they will if she accepts a $5 million a year deal or if her ratings miraculously recover then they’ll still give her $20+ million

    • I mostly liked Megyn when she was on Fox. Towards the end of her tenure I was losing interest. Now, I have none.

      • I think she’s the most gifted news personality to come around in my adulthood. She could literally sell chemical castration pills to Harvey Weinstein. She can speak paragraphs with a look. She’s incredibly fast on her feet.

I think she is dogged, but gets bored. For all her bravo, she’s touchy. She left the practice of law, and now she’s left political reporting. Been there, done that, better than most everyone else, let me try this new thing now.

Failure might end up being the best and most stabilizing thing that happens to her.

  3. Can’t help but feel Heather Childers got the worst of the FNC daytime shuffle. Yes, she has her own show but it is on at 4 a.m. Meanwhile, it looks like Melissa Francis will be the HN co-host. Heather deserves better.

    • Now that I’ve seen the entire Your World segment, I’ll note that Hank Williams Jr. was rehired by ESPN before this season, reinstating the “All My Rowdy Friends Are Here on Monday Night” (a.k.a. “Are You Ready for Some Football”) theme for Monday Night Football.

        • I’d say it’s 312 weeks, but the announcement of his return came before the six-year mark. So much for being proud of doing the math in my head.

          • Unnamed sources are fine to a point, however someone like Gabriel Sherman whose whole career in journalism partisan creative writing is based on unnamed sources is despicable. He even attempts to add creditability with descriptors like high level sources, management sources, executive sources and most recently a prominent Republican source. A prominent Republican of what, your local city council?

          • Farrow has several recordings in his report. Did good journalism here and didn’t give up when NBC said no. Props.

          • If Farrow had only one recording, it is one more than NBC had with the bogus quote that Trump wants to increase nuclear weapons ten-fold. No recordings of the moron quote either, but that was cleared for their broadcast. The main criteria is whether the target is a powerful liberal Democrat or whether he is a Republican.

        • Given the number of rowdy friends that passed on to that great end zone in the sky between games, yeah.

    • If there are heros here in this story, it is Farris and any women willing to go on record with him.

Ronan got the story out at the risk of his tenure at NBC.

Obviously, he hasn’t been sitting back collecting a paycheck.

      • I thought his comments on Rachel’s show hit NBC hard but not in a super nasty way. He got his point across quite well.

  4. Any idea what’s going on with Eboni Williams? I don’t think I’ve seen her on Fox since her show was cancelled.

    • Unfortunately, I don’t think Kimmel will apologize. And apparently Matt Damon was on Kimmel’s show last night and the subject of Weinstein was not discussed. Unbelievable!

      • very corrupt MSM. Thank goodness Trump has the guts to call them out. Romney and Bush were such wimps when it came to dealing with the media.

        • I’ll never forget Ben Carson, after running for the Republican nomination, saying that he had expected corruption via our political-media culture, but the extent of it had overwhelmed him.

It took a Barnum like Trump to expose it. It took someone who is insulated via vast wealth and a penchant for survival. For all Trump’s chicanery, they out… chicane him, and are far more cynical, manipulative, disdainful, intolerant, and tyrannical.

      • Is Kimmel the one that got on a tearful high-horse the other night?

I can’t tell one of those late night hosts from the other.

It certainly is ironic that an actor willing to do Harvey Weinstein ‘s bidding, would not be approached about that claim, even if delicately.

    • Ah, The Man Show. I used to watch that, even the season with Joe Rogan and Doug Stanhope in place of Adam Carolla and Jimmy Kimmel, of whom the links refer to.

      • I remember them doing a sketch where Adam and Jimmy had a petition to end women’s suffrage. Women signed the petition not knowing what suffrage means. They were signing a petition to repeal their right to vote!
