    • Papa is that you?

I love it – way to go FNC!

Have you noticed TVN has a lot of pop-ups now, very annoying.

        • I hope that’s the plan with Laura Ingraham.

I love that Hannity had over 1 million in the 25-54 Demo and was the 6th most watched TV program in both cable and broadcast networks!

    • I got about half way through the first editorial when I had to take cover from the invading video/audio commercials bombarding my browser. I may try again if the “all clear” is sounded.

    • Looks like we’ll just get tropical storm force winds and a lot of rain. (I cleaned out my rain gutters this afternoon.) We’re about 60 miles inland. Cars are full of gas, fridge is full of food and we’ll fill a few containers of water tomorrow. And we’ll eat stuff from the fridge first if we lose power and have generator problems. I do feel for the folks further down the coast in Corpus Christi and Port Aransas. Looks like Harvey is headed right toward them.

  1. The media, especially CNN (Stelter, etc.) continues to play victim to Trumps criticism and suggest that they are now targets (or target practice according to NYT). I honestly believe they hope someone in the media is attacked and it wouldn’t surprise me if it’s one of their own or an anti-Trumper. .

        • No reason not to post. I think the danger is more with CNN and its millions of viewers than the relative handful who stop at my humble website. CNN watchers are the ones who may think they’re seeing truth, straight news, and take even outrageous opinions as gospel. Anyone who reads this site can be considered far more perspicacious than the typical gullible CNN viewer.

          • Particularly when they are backed up, though less sensationally, by most of the rest of the media: liberal, mainstream Republican, arch conservative… everybody but barbershop deplorable social media.

    • But CNN can do panels of folks saying that the president is crazy.

CNN panels imply that Trump is unstable enough to be a danger to the country’s safety, but don’t worry for a minute that this talk could trigger an assassin.

I’m not arguing that CNN should censor itself based upon what a madman might do. That’s nearly always an unreasonable expectation. However, they shouldnt do what they’re doing and then complain about feeling unsafe because Trump has called them dishonest and bad people.

    • Brian Shelter always tries to shut down speech.

He will always argue that simply articulating conservative policy positions leads to hate crime. That criticism of the media means that you are “anti-journalism”. That you want the media shut down utterly.

He will always try to squelch critics in this manner. He”s a political tactician, not a journalist.

  2. Today’s most popular links:
