  1. There is that old ‘Boo Hoo Hoo, Everybody hates Fox News, It is not fair.’ Thing again. That is not what the article is about. The article is about Fox hating on others.

      • Please apologize. I did nothing of the sort. I was the first to post. When you level false accusations, you must apologize.

        • I apologize. I was mistaken. Your distortions had nothing to do with Mike’s words. You created them out of whole cloth.

          • A non-apology apology, I see. No problem. I understand you now, and I can ignore any further posts you make. Thanks for clearing that up.

          • I apologized. I admitted my mistake. I corrected my error. You, on the other hand, have not admitted your mistake, I.e.,”The article is about Fox hating on others.” You have not corrected your error. You have made an accusation without offering a shred of evidence, hence, out of whole cloth.

          • You know, I tried reading between the lines while standing on my head with the dog howling in the background, and you know, you just may have something.

          • I’m very familiar with the circular argument.

Though a national program focuses on Fox, you are the one who exaggerates FNC’s importance…and their critics are right…and Fox is hateful to criticize their critics…and you’re obsessive because all this means little to most Americans…but here I am trying to set you straight…

          • I love to be schooled. Dang though, I seem to leave the straight and narrow path they set me on like a drunk passing a tavern.

  2. Re: “TCG: Unbalanced Reliable Sources discussion targets Fox News”: This was a great antidote to the Mediaite recap I read on Sunday instead of clicking on the video link in the J$P weekend thread.

    • If CNN is truly trying to attract disaffected Fox News viewers angry with Megyn and FNC — as some journos and bloggers have suggested — this was hardly a step in that direction.

  3. So if the judge released Kim Davis because the purpose of the contempt violation has been satisfied (i.e., marriage licenses are being issued) you would think Ms. Davis and her attorneys may have agreed to the stipulation not to interfere with her deputies.

    Stay tuned I guess.

What are they saying on Fox News? My TV-DVR powers on to CNN and I just stayed with the breaking news.

    • Just now got around to watching the beginning of Gretchen’s program in which two items were mentioned.

      • Shannon Bream reported that the county may change the name on the licenses from Kim Davis to the name of the county.
      • Gretchen showed a clip from Fox & Friends where Governor Christie chided Senator Cruz for “grandstanding in Kentucky instead of being back in Washington now that Congress is back in session.”

      • I’d make the same guess that Bream did about how Davis will react to this proposed accommodation and to the order.

I agree with Napolitano about the timing, but I predict that she’ll won’t comply anyway.

She needs to resign if she can’t do her job.

        • If I understood what little her attorney revealed, a lot might depend on whether her name is removed from the license (or plans to do so are forthcoming).

I still predict that there is better than a 50-50 chance she will find a way to avoid returning to that jail cell — whatever that ends up being.

          • If I were going to offer that accommodation, I would have done it before jailing her

However….I wouldn’t have ever offered it. I don’t think the judge should have either.

          • At first I wondered if this judge’s decision was an indirect appeal to voters when he is up for reelection.

            Silly me.

            Federal district judges are appointed.

  4. I was amused by this Tweet following Brian Stelter’s numerous tweets about Stephen Colbert’s premiere show.

Gonna have to block Stelter’s all Colbert feed today…#uncle

Perhaps Brian has a little OCD going on.

    • A nose already brown from Zucker is getting browner. If Stelter were on the sixth grade playground with young Larry, I would have made him eat dirt.

    • Spud even favored one of my anti-Colbert replies to a Stelter tweet. I don’t think such a thing has happened… ever.

  5. Andrea Mitchell tearing into Clinton on her email? Thomas Roberts tearing into Howard Dean on Clnton’s email? Mika?
Obama has to be looking at all this thinking, “my dogs only do their tricks for me.”
