  1. Black, gay, with a chip on his shoulder as big as they get. From Trayvon Martin to Ferguson, cable TV saturation coverage has empowered the anger. Don’t look for any thoughtful soul-searching on that though.

    • The poor girl that he killed wasn’t even working there when he was fired. How in the hell did she make racial slurs to him on the job? A murderer and a liar. The whole thing makes me sick. Two young lives cut down, just because some utter misfit had a sad.

  2. Not unless someone tells Lawrence O’Donnell that they saw Williams in a gym walking on a treadmill with Hannity blaring on a screen in front of him.

  3. Do like Kate Snow , would be nice if she was an anchor on MSNBC , as long as they do news and use NBC News people and not “correspondents” from MSNBC.

    • If she doesn’t attack CNN’s criteria for doing almost the same thing FNC did , then it may seem as though she was really just going after FNC , not the stupid rules.

      • FNC averaged the 5 most recent polls prior to the Aug 6 debate.
CNN will average major polls from July 16 through Sept. 10 to come up with the top 10 candidates that will make it into the main debate Sept. 16.

    • It wasn’t her fault. She read her copy and the full screen graphic also had “trustworthy” after “liar” and dishonest.”

      • So the CNN copy writer got the Clinton poll wrong. The graphic designer got it wrong. The anchor got it wrong.

Got it wrong despite what’s all over the place about Clinton’s trustworthiness.

Is there a bubble or what!…

  4. So here is a thought. If Fiorina knocks it out of the park in the lower tier again, does that help her even more? Is it possible that it is actually a benefit to be the winner of that debate instead of being absorbed by the Trump show?

    • Suprised me yesterday when he threw out suspicion that FOX-Trump fued might be ginned up, so maybe. I had no prior indication either.

1 Today’s oops: CNN changes Hillary poll finding to ‘trustworthy’.

  6. The discussion in the Ed Henry segment about how Hillary Clinton and Joe Biden are basically the same ideologically reminded me of a Futurama episode. It features a presidential debate with clone candidates named Jack Johnson and John Jackson. Via the transcript:

[One of the candidates, Jack Johnson, begins the debate.]

Johnson: [on TV] It’s time someone had the courage to stand up and say: “I’m against those things that everybody hates”.

[The other candidate is John Jackson.]

Jackson: [on TV] Now I respect my opponent. I think he’s a good man but, quite frankly, I agree with everything he just said!

Fry: These are the candidates? They sound like clones. [He looks a little harder.] Wait a minute. They are clones!

Leela: Don’t let their identical DNA fool you. They differ on some key issues.

Johnson: [on TV] I say your three cent titanium tax goes too far.

Jackson: [on TV] And I say your three cent titanium tax doesn’t go too far enough!

Just replace “Jackson” with “Clinton” and “Johnson” with “Biden.”

I should point out that this kind of of speculation is not only coming from the MSM.

Former Ted Cruz staffer and Sunday guest on MediaBuzz — Amanda Carpenter — also got in on the act on Twitter.

Is it wrong for me to wonder if latest Ailes-Trump dust up is designed to build up to the inevitable Trump-Kelly interview? Ratings gold.

Personally, I think this speculation — while fun to ponder — is also kind of silly.
