  1. “But isn’t a candidate ultimately responsible for all of his or her advertising material?” Only when you are a Republican.

    • I liked Gibson when he was on FNC, but his writing is far better. Maybe it’s the difference between “Live” and the writing process – outline, draft(s), final copy. The latter gives one time to think and keep ones foot out of ones mouth.

  2. Thanks to Wemple for confirming CNN has formalized the use of democrat talking poins. CNN has always prided itself as being “right down the middle” and they still are. They just scrape one side off.

  3. Trying to think of a new gig for Lemon. It would be great if he were to show his versatility by hosting the MISS UNIVERSE pageant.

  4. If you’re looking for honesty in a Hillary Clinton ad you’ve come to the wrong place.

  5. Re: “Throwback Thursday video: Shep rants about O’Reilly to Jane Skinner”: Three thoughts:
    1) We miss you, Jane.
    2) That O’Reilly Factor billboard had an image of a Sirius (before the merger) radio tuner behind the image of Mr. Bill. I used to have a tuner like that. These days, I only listen to SiriusXM in cars that are subscribed to it.
    3) I hope this becomes a regular Thursday feature, J$.

  6. I’ve been struggling figuring out the Greek thing, but as best as I can tell, it’s what you get with unfettered liberalism. Living beyond their means with goodies promised by politicians and puny tax collection efforts, the Greeks kept it together by borrowing. Reaching the point of not being able to make the loan payments, they elected a lefty government with the aim of making the lenders the bad guys for not forgiving the debt. It didn’t work. “Bad guys” are saying, “We’re not going to tax our folks so your folks can retire at 50”. The cable coverage seems pretty much a daily assessment of how our stock market is hurt, but comparisons with Chicago and Detroit, well, look to FOX for that.

    • He is so fast with a quip. The “Bill got hit with a bus” left me with tears in my eyes.

  7. Thank you Johnny for posting the Shep vid.
There are so many great Skinnerville vids out there.
I love the one where Jane calls the Blackberry..The “Dingleberry”..lol

  8. In Nigeria Boko Haram extremists gunned down 100 Muslims in mosques today during prayers. Claims that reruns of Dukes of Hazzard on Kenya cable stations were to blame are pure conjecture.

  10. Lee Greenwood guest on the Daily Wrap. No audio on the introduction using his famous music video so he BLESSed THE USA a cappella. Nice.

    • The perils of live TV… So when in doubt and with every crisis comes an opportunity or something like that… So I had to improvise. Worked out quite nicely…
