  1. I’ve heard some truly great monikers this week: Patton Oswalt, Morgan Spurlock, Keaton Jones.

The last is particularly cool, but not cool enough to have made life easier for the little boy who holds it.

That streak continues. I read this morning that after all the kind endeavors to help Keaton, that were inspired by a video of him devastatingly articulating his life struggles, these efforts have now come to a screeching halt.

Evidently, some internet truthseekers investigated this child’s background and discovered a picture of his mama standing by a Confederate flag. This led to rumors that his dad is in jail for a racist hate crime and that Keaton’s treatment at school was the result of his own acts of racist bullying.

Those are the stories, anyway…and so powerful are the narratives we cherish, that the change in this one was enough to halt all concern and kindness toward a suffering…in one way or another…eleven year old kid.

We are goddamn freaks of nature.

  2. Trump gets rousing, cheering reception at FBI. Makes one wonder if CNN reporting of how fond the rank and file were of James Comey just might have been FAKE NEWS?

  3. ?‍⚕️“Could anyone be more awful than Gloria Allred?”

??“Well… let me tell ya ‘bout her kid.”
