  1. Spent the weekend tweaking the look and feel of J$P. I’ve never been satisfied with how it looks ever since I moved from my previous site which was my favorite design of all my attempts. But it was a clunky, sluggish platform for blogging, whereas WordPress is easy to use and quick to make updates. I don’t find it as easy to design or customize however.

Anyhow, I’ve tried to make it less ugly. Some minor design changes plug elimination of the ugly menu tabs. The menu is now in the upper right hand corner and has the advantage of always being there no matter how far down the page you scroll. The header is now a slideshow and one that’s easy to update with new images and pictures when the mood strikes. I couldn’t figure out how my design from 2015 made the bluish backdrop (it has something to do with layers or something way out of my league) so I just took a screenshot of it and adapted it for here. Not ideal but someday I’ll figure out how it was done and that will make it look a little better here. The Newsers Tweet page has been enlarged and updated but with the hideaway menu many people will not even know it’s here. I’m working on that but it doesn’t get much use anyhow. For now I’m done with CSS classes, IDs, floats, selectors, icons, yada yada yada.

PS: Steve Hilton will be handling Fox News Tonight this week 10pm on Monday and Tuesday. His Sunday night show isn’t exactly exciting but it’s more thoughtful than I expected it to be.

  2. There was a joke about FNC last night on The Simpsons. Grampa is in a bird sanctuary at the zoo and vultures circle him. He tells one that perches on his shoulder to go ahead and bite him because “[his] blood has turned to bile from watching Fox News.” The vulture bit him and dropped dead. I wonder what would happen if the vulture bit a CNN or MSNBC viewer.

  3. Which Today show employee is feeling the lowest, Megyn or the fired staff guy that leaked LOD’s tantrum video? Yeah, the poor slob looking for some yuks, not the multimillionaire.

    • I wonder if there is more to the Larry leaker story. Perhaps NBC is leaking the “he thought it would be funny” story, whereas maybe the leaker wanted to also expose Larrys horrible treatment to the shows workers. It would make sense for NBC to leak the former and not discuss the later to avoid more negative press. I could be wrong and have been many times. However we all know NBC isn’t always an honest news organization, especially in relation to internal issues.

      • He might have gotten severance under the condition mouth is sealed shut. Larry should have come to his defense as the disclosure will make O’Donnel a better person. Yeah, sure.

  4. Speaking of Larry. I have a unusual craving for a Larry Tate pizza! Those who follow J$P on twitter or read his twitter feed on this page will get it. 😉

  5. Brian Stelter tries to troll Trump mentioning a confidant of his wanting to buy Weinstein company and then mentions that it will be distributing Michael Moores anti-Trump film. First why not buy the company, it will be selling a rock bottom prices and Harvey is gone. Also Stelter steps on a rake (as twitchy often says) and calls out a fellow liberal Michael Moores association with Harvey. Oops, I guess Stelter didn’t get approval from Zucker before posting.

P.S. CNN still silent on the Jeff Zucker and Harvey Weinstein close relationship and that Zucker still hasn’t disassociated or called him out yet.

  6. NBC News is still hasn’t tried to find out who leaked the Access Hollywood Trump tape to the Washington Post. Hint: It was the President of NBC News.
