  1. Bill O Reilly cost too much for OANN , channel doesn’t look like it’s flowing in cash. Bill doesn’t seem to be a person who willing to take a pay cut or an OANN pay amount.

  2. Let’s be honest about Scarborough’s “music career”— middle aged man looking to relive a piece of his youth with little more than a decent college cover band. Sad!

Hey, at least he did not buy a red sports car.

  3. The latest of the Mudville Democrats with a swing and a miss. There was no joy at CNN. The one at MSNBC neither.

  4. Re: “Barr: Is Bill O’Reilly plotting his future online, or on TV? Or…both?”: Barr’s post was marred by interviewing Cenk Uygur. Why don’t you talk to Keith Olbermann, while you’re at it?

  5. Tuesday on Sean Hannity’s nationally syndicated radio show, author and University of the Arts professor of humanities and media studies Camille Paglia railed against the current state of journalism in America. Paglia called what she said the Democratic Party had done to journalism “absolutely grotesque” and warned it would take decades to recover.

“It’s obscene,” she said. “It’s outrageous, OK? It shows that the Democrats are nothing now but words and fantasy and hallucination and Hollywood. There’s no journalism left. What’s happened to The New York Times? What’s happened to the major networks? It’s an outrage.”

    • The media is awful. Just straight up horrific.

Could you imagine if someone had sent letters to voters in which Jon Ossoff was called a dirty name and which contained white powder, on the back of a would-be assassin trying to assassinate twelve congressman (which would have caused a national crisis)?

Every news program would have been pre-emptied for special coverage of the rise of right wing hate groups threatening democracy.

We don’t have a media in this country. We have a political constituency composed of elites that isn’t just aligned with the Democratic Party, but steers it.

  6. One thing I’ve noticed is after Democrats trash Trump about something the media loves to follow up with,”even Republican lawmakers are starting to blah, blah…” followed buy either Senator McCain or Graham — always. These two guys that ran against Trump, hate Trump, and got their a$$ handed to them by Trump are of course representative of their colleagues.

  7. Well it’s nice they are giving Tom Shillue. a radio show… surprised they didn’t fill in the 6-9pmet slot though.

      • Maybe there is still an announcement to come, but it doesn’t seem that likely.
Fox News Radio seems to prefer solo hosts and then just use the show’s producers as quasi-sidekicks. Brian and the Judge looks like it was the last two person Fox News Radio show and that ended seven years ago.

It still looks like Andy is on his way out. Other than appearing on Kennedy and doing the Red Eye podcast, radio with Tom was the only thing he was doing at Fox. The fact that he hasn’t appeared on The Specialists yet is probably a sign. He is a much better choice for a guest than the majority of people who have appeared on that show.

Another bad sign for Andy is that the Red Eye podcast will most likely go away with Tom now doing 15 hours of radio a week.

It think the one thing that might keep Andy at Fox would be if Greg replaces Timpf with him. It doesn’t seem likely, but it would be a good move. Andy has better chemistry with Greg than Kat does. Kat doesn’t need to be a weekend sidekick when she is a weekday host and she is too often just repeating comments that she already made during the week. Andy would have more time during the week to dedicate to Greg’s show. Kat has even taken her occasional Man-on-the-street segment over to The Specialists.

        • I would like If they kept Andy, yeah have him be on Greg’s show that would be nice to have those two together.

          • I’m surprised Greg has never had Andy on his show. Especially now, with Red Eye canceled, you’d think Greg would throw him a bone, so to speak, and have him on the panel on Saturday night.

        • I hope a place is found for Andy on FNC soon as well. He has been co-hosting with Tom on the radio recently so I was hoping he would be included in the announcement.

          • Fox News will probably wait until the end of the summer/start of fall, but they have a lot of decisions to make.
There are two shows that don’t have hosting openings (Happening Now and the 2:00 show). They need to also decide if they are going to keep all of the other shows in their current time slots and with their current host(s).
Plus, the website is being revamped. Maybe they will start having some new online shows.

So, with that many moving parts, maybe they find something new for Andy. I think an online Red Eye-esque show would be a good idea.

I think his best chance for TV, aside from Gutfeld, is if they try to do another panel show. Maybe a weekend or Fox Business show.

    • Mabye Lily Langtry will pass him in the hallway and give him a swift kick in the….
