  1. Spotted this on twitter. Didn’t RT it because I don’t want to get Greta in trouble with her MSNBC overlords…

When a fan mentioned @marthamaccallum to Greta, Greta tweeted: Martha’s a friend; watch her at 7 but watch me at 6.
    Tweet quickly deleted.

  2. Last week some fans of The Five wondered if Bob Beckel was really such a good fit this time around.

Now there are rumblings that perhaps Sean Spicer was (also) not a good fit as WH Press Secretary.

Consider these juicy tidbits in Monday’s Washington Post which came from interviews with nearly a dozen senior White House officials and other Trump advisers and confidants, some of whom spoke on the condition of anonymity to describe private conversations and moments….

    • Spicer’s statement Saturday did not go well. He appeared tired and nervous in an ill-fitting gray pinstripe suit.

    • In Trump’s mind, Spicer’s attack on the news media on Saturday was not forceful enough. He was bothered that Spicer read, at times haltingly, from a printed statement.

    • Unlike other senior aides — Chief of Staff Reince Priebus, chief strategist Stephen K. Bannon, counselor Kellyanne Conway and senior adviser Jared Kushner, the president’s son-in-law — Spicer does not enjoy a close and long-standing personal relationship with Trump.

    • Trump hesitated over selecting Spicer as White House press secretary. He did not see Spicer as particularly telegenic and preferred a woman for the position like Conway or Ingraham.

    • He settled on on Spicer at the urging of Priebus and others.

Things apparently looked better for Spicer late Monday when Kellyanne (who some speculated was trying to undermine him) gave him high marks for Monday’s presser.

  3. Trump to keep Comey as FBI Director. Be interesting to see the cable news attitude shown to that. I applaude it. Managed to piss everyone off depending on the month.

    • Ah the wonderment and power of getting a hyperlink on the Drudge Report.

Nearly 6000 comments so far on a website many of us have never heard of.

Dan Abrams probably just thew his Starbucks cup against the wall while exclaiming, “Dammit, why can’t we do that!!”

          • Kind of like the problem we have with Gypsies. Damn Gypsies and their surprise wagon visits. Why do Gypsies big and little always play their stinking fiddles? Time for them to please the masses. Shove the fiddles up their…

    • Definitely do not read it. He is spot on and that might be rough on friends of BOR. Even BOR admits his kill books are meant to bring the discussion down to the “folks”. However history is not well written or supported in the format he uses. People like it and many people that would never touch a history book read them and that is good. It does not negate and BOR should have accepted the truth. His books are shallow in page count. That he has a point of view, just like Mathews had in his badly written JFK book. POVs kinda negate factual history. Will pointed out that to understand history reading BOR only will not give you an accurate view. Instead of agreeing to disagree BOR was out of bounds nasty to Will. Very uncool.

      • Your comment is rough on friends of BOR, which I assume includes fans like me. The comment below your reply is rough on supporters of Trump, including lukewarm ones like me. And I can do without the name calling.

        • i tried to be fair and balanced, i will review. No pain intended, Curious, how do you see the BOR Will dance? i found it painful.

          • I was on Bill’s side. George is a hack. Both sides have hacks. I still like his baseball analysis, though. It’s the same way I can enjoy Alec Baldwin on Match Game, Anthony Anderson on To Tell the Truth, and Dave Foley on Dr. Ken (the only show out of the three that isn’t a game show) in spite of their liberal activism. We know about Alec, but Anthony has contempt for black conservatives and Dave has contempt for non-intellectuals, which he feels are more on his side than ours.

        • I don’t read his comments anymore so separating “rough” from repetitive clodish behavior is no longer necessary.

  4. What happens when people get tired of your belittling low hanging fruit tucker? You can find dumb libs and play with them like captured flies to have their wings pulled off but i bet you get riled up mad on those interviews with cons that can’t speak well, have teeth missing, Alt salutes, Klan quotes. The people you have on are for pure belittlement. You would do better quantifying the amount of kooks on both sides if you can. Show us numbers that there are more kooks on the left than right … if you can…. or maybe brush them aside and talk about things that actually matter. Using kooks to rile up the Chumpettes speaks more badly of the Chumpettes and you than the crazy people you put on to easily Kebob
