  1. Memo to self: never hire anyone with first name that has “de” arbitrarily stuck on it. Ya can’t fire ’em.

  2. Today’s most popular links:
    5 racial discrimination
    4 his Trump infatuation
    3 Jake Tapper
    2 gets a head
And the most popular link in today’s links…
1 Why MSNBC’s Outnumbered facsimile will not become a nightly show.

  3. Things you learn on Twitter. 🙂
If true, I can add Elisabeth Warren to my abbreviated list of those who changed political parties after age 46.

Ronald Reagan was a Dem until his early 50s.
Dennis Miller was a Dem until his late 40s.
Donald Trump was a Dem until his 60s.
Elisabeth Warren was a Repub until her mid 40s.

Not sure when Geraldo Rivera registered as a Republican. But I think it might have been in his mid to late 60s.

  4. I have watched Megyn Kelly have entertaining interviews with non-politicians Michael Moore, Richard Dreyfuss and Diane Sawyer.

    How good is she?

Does anyone doubt she could replace the ratings-challenged Stephen Colbert next week (perhaps I should say next year)?

She’s a much better and more engaging interviewer — a Colbert weak spot.

She’s just as smart as Colbert and is funny enough for late night. CBS has plenty of writers for her opening monologue.

For those who think she would miss politics, I would suggest you’re not paying attention. She’s certainly not an ideologue and probably not even a conservative. By her own admission she could have been successful at MSNBC.

    No, I haven’t been drinking.
