  1. “The Des Moines Register/Bloomberg Poll projects an average number of new voters. If that’s true, that’s a bad night for Donald Trump and Bernie Sanders.”
    ~ CNN’s John King

He also addressed a point which I was interested in. Apparently if CNN and/or FNC have reporters check the length of the lines at the precincts about an hour before they open the doors at 7pm CT this is a good way to get some clues about turnout.

Forget popcorn. I’m upgrading to pizza. Donald Trump whispered in my ear, “This is gonna be huuuuuge.”

  2. Brian Williams always did lean — why I never watched him.

Lester Holt leans so little he appears straight — why I always watch him.

    • When Brian was doing NN the only time I really watched was when Ann Curry or Lester were filling in… and Scott Pelley was my choice , now I have two good choices … since I don’t check out WNT at all.

      • I sampled WNT a couple weeks a while back. Awful. Same thing ABC did with Nightline: added too much show biz, ET junk.

        • I don’t watch any of the broadcast network news. I see it as all being crap to one degree or another.

        • I used to watch Nightline and that used to be my favorite late night show .., but nope can’t have nice things

  3. just watched a segment on Fox about the Microsoft app used for tonight’ caucus totals. i wonder if it is auto weighted to account for the Chinese and Iranian hack votes?

  4. Gotta ask: has Gregory been on CNN since he left NBC? I know he has been on Fox a few times-either on Special Report or Fox News Sunday-can’t remember. Wherever it was, I wasn’t impressed think CNN is a better fit for him.

  5. Bill Press has more lives than a cat.

Strange fact: take all the cable news shows in history added together. Divide by 42 times π and the result is the same as the sum of all the cable appearances by Bill + Tucker.

  6. Today’s most popular links:
    5 David Gregory
    4 turn blue
    3 Controversy swirls
    2 with extra leaning
And the most popular link in today’s links…
    1 Today’s lawsuit: Stacey Dash.

  7. CNN put out a fake quote from Megyn Kelly today, claiming she ‘felt betrayed’ by how Bill O’Reilly treated her. Only the article cited to support this quote had no such Megyn Kelly quote in it. In fact, it didn’t even have a quote from anyone else saying Megyn Kelly felt betrayed. I zinged the guy who sent it out, and Brian Stelter who RTd it and wrote the article, but it looks like they’re just going to go with the fake quote. (The article, by the way, is a bunch of hype that boils down to little more than O’Reilly and Megyn are competitive about ratings. There is no evidence of a ‘personal feud’ and the sourcing for the story is thin at best.)

    • CNN has gone with questionale “stories” for years. Remember Peter Arnett and Operation Tailwind? Arnett claimed that nerve gas (sarin) was used, and CNN aired the lie without checking.

    • So an anonymous person characterized as a “Kelly supporter” says that THEY consider O’Reilly’s conduct a “betrayal” and that’s as good as Kelly saying it?

    • I could tire of him as fast as I do our current Secretary of State. Would be tortuous with either as POTUS.
