  1. was on the road yesterday, so posting about yesterdays link today. don’t know if there were comments on the hulu charlie rose cnn int journos interview. if you did not watch it, you should. it should be played in all journo schools. compliments jd. it in the same short time puts a tremendous amount of personal experience and info on the table and shows the unified desire than runs through cnn int to convey their views and change the minds of viewers to what they believe. we need un-distilled info to make up our own minds. we get the info poured through their narrative’s colander and that distilled stale info is just not available anywhere. we cannot be everywhere and know everything to base our own views on info we can trust with our own senses. how can we even trust our own strongly held views when the only info available is all propagandized? fascinating interview. exposes the reality of information coverage. there is no no spin.

  2. The Carpe Diem hit piece on Kat Timpf not a serious piece, author claimed “sounds if she was still on Red Eye”. Well if you watch Fox overnight TV lately, you would know Timpf is a regular on The Greg Gutfeld show, not Red Eye. This author needs to be a Newshounds contributor, commenting on Fox cable shows without even watching them.

  3. Today’s most popular links:

1 Video: Sen Gillibrand thanks Fox, says coverage ‘made a huge difference’.

    • People need to notice that the president was unaware that the events in Paris and San Bernardino had struck such a nerve in the country.

The worse thing about that remark is its utter disingenousness. What he truly means is that he thinks folks are over-reacting cretins for being dismayed by his disengagement with anything that isn’t solely political fodder for his domestic agenda of giving govt greater control over the essentials of life and importing Democrats into the country.

        • He doesn’t like us. I mean the whole shebang. The whole country needs “fixed” in his eyes.

It’s no wonder he sat for all those years under Rev. Wright.

          • I find it very hard to consider anyone who would take the Lord’s Name in vain from the pulpit an actual reverend. That was an act that was repulsive beyond words, except for one – blasphemy.

      • Even if one supports some of Obama’s policies, his PR missteps and tone deafness have been absolutely jaw dropping.

If the old tv show “West Wing” had tried to do stories on these, the network would have laughed out loud saying, “You’ve got to be kidding. No one is going to believe that fiction.”

Saying, “If you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor” has to be the all-time worst.

        • No, this was the biggest lie:

“I, Barack Hussein Obama, do solemnly swear that I will faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my Ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States.”
