    • … but CBS THIS MORNING once again proved the MSM is capable of giving the viewer a dose of fair-and-balanced. Very even, intelligent report/analysis segment on yesterday’s hearing.

      • For the first time you make me regret our jettisoning Dish.

I would be thrilled to see that on CBS and trust your accuracy.

BTW, we have Roku only (and that by virtue of having had the device and still having Wifi) and it was my husband’s idea to stop Dish in order to prepare our psyches for wilderness solitude.

Guess what channel he has subscribed to… Sling…in order to watch sports this fall and winter…

        The boy’s a regular Henry David Thoreau…

    • One second quiz. Name the last American politician who was so honest they never told a lie.

That’d be George Washington who admitted to cutting down his father’s cherry tree. But wait, that’s a myth! So never mind. ;^)

  1. Solid sub-anchoring debut for Abby Huntsman this morning as she filled in for Martha MacCallum. Abby earned her journalism chops at CBS News, and the impartial reporter glove fits her better than making her be the token Republican in a nest of MSNBC vipers.

  2. Cecelia, remember what we discussed the other day? It’s already happened…in record time! Bob Beckel, at Fox a buffoon who “led Mondale to a historic loss”, today is a terrific hire by CNN. If it weren’t for double standards, the hypocrites wouldn’t have any standards at all.

  3. Today’s most popular links:
    5 Kasich gets
4 nine of top 15 slots
    3 Bernard Goldberg
    2 Controversy swirls
And the most popular link in today’s links…
1 Kelly File video: Documents contradict Hillary Clinton statements.

  4. I skipped one intense segment from last night’s O’Reilly Factor and a Factor fan Facebook friend alerted me to what happened. Evil racist Bill cut Keith Boykin’s mic. (For newcomers, my description of our humble correspondent was sarcastic.) My friend’s link was from the Young Conservatives website. After reading, I searched o’reilly boykin on Google. It was the usual reaction: blue blogs were outraged, red blogs were sympathetic to Bill. Keith Boykin is now Fox haters’ latest martyr.

    • I wrote my comment prematurely. Like Donald Trump did with Jorge Ramos, O’Reilly allowed Boykin to return. He took the opportunity to filibuster and attempt to shame Bill.

I still say Boykin’s a martyr to the haters.
