  1. Great piece on the Olbs by The Cable Gamer and fun trip down memory lane with the Olbermann Watch links.

    Bob Cox was a hoot!

  2. I just saw a clip of Megyn Kelly being interviewed on The Charlie Rose Show. “Some” are saying that this was basically an audition for a job at CBS. Anyone else hear that Megyn is leaving FOX?

    • I think he was using it in the sense of someone who usually eats at McDonald’s goes to a gourmet burger place (if such a thing existed) and tastes the difference: now that’s a real hamburger. But it’s weirdly out of place in a comment about race, so basically yeah, you’re right, what was he thinking?

OTOH, I can’t help but notice how Ben Carson is being pummeled with questions about it. When was the last time any Dem candidate for President was grilled about the stuff people at MSNBC say? I’d say that would be about the 12th of Never.

      • Yeah, it’s not attractive when liberals designate conservative blacks to be inauthentic, so too with Murdoch doing it to the president.

The irony in the media quizzing Carson about Murdoch’s remark is that it sets him up to make a supporter even more of a focus of the news cycle over a moronic comment or puts Carson in the position of others saying he’s a servile black guy by not rapping Murdoch.

It’s win/win for them and that fact alone should cause Carson to treat them with the concern they deserve… He’s remarked that Murdoch is not racist. He could follow that with a statement that he knows how it feels to put your foot in it while in a media spotlight.

That would be enough said. Hope Carson understands that.

  3. Today’s most popular links:
    5 Murdoch tweets
    4 Full Megyn Kelly
    3 John Gibson
    2 replace Bill Cosby
And the most popular link in today’s links…
1 Rehiring Olby would make MSNBC ‘the place for prevaricators’.
