  1. Re: “Trump Twitter tirade targets Fox News”: Not only are Trump supporters as fervent and nasty as Ron Paul supporters used to be, but Trump joins in their fervor and nastiness. Ron Paul didn’t do that.

    • BOR made a good point. that coverage of Trump and other personality aspects of candidates obscures financial data like falling income. i would add soaring unfunded liability. state pensions, falling labor participation etc. while it is complicated causation, the interaction of the political left, right, and media, clearly it benefits the “government party”. add that to the fact that traditional presidential voting is perceived character based and we have a script for continuing decline. no off ramps in sight.

    • DT and his supporters seem to think he has some sort of dispensation from criticism. He claims Fiorina is robotic in her campaign speeches. Ever listen to his? His supporters have taken fervent to another level.

    • Michael Woodman was played by the late John Sylvester White, not to be confused with John Sebestian, who performed the iconic Welcome Back, Kotter theme song.

  2. Interestingly, the audio version of Killing Reagan is not read by Bill O’Reilly, as was the case for all his adult books, until Legends & Lies: The Real West. It’s read by actor Robert Petkoff. I’m disappointed, but my disappointment is offset by the improved delivery and correct pronunciation sure to come with a professional actor at the helm. No offense. I say “sure to come” because I haven’t listened yet, except for an excerpt on Amazon. I pre-ordered last month and saw the name “Robert Petkoff” listed as one of the narrators when I downloaded the audiobook this morning in my Audible app.

I also watched my DVR of Bill’s Jimmy Kimmel Live appearance, which J$ linked to in three parts.

  4. Uh-oh: Bill said “shut up,” as in “I’d like to go fishing with [Bernie Sanders], if he’d shut up.” It’s more fodder for O’Reilly haters that believe he always tells people he disagrees with to shut up.

  5. One wonders why people do not see how Donald Trump is so thin skinned. Is he not supposed to be the tough guy in the race?
