  1. I gave up Rachael’s ramblings when they lost any grain of thought worth considering and settlled on the doom of enemies and predictable snark.

  2. I listened to Maddow’s show last night, and the Friday night game thing she does is unwatchsble. It’s utterly pointless even as a way of showcasing Rachel ‘s folkiness. It makes her seem insipid rather than sharp. Whose idea was this?

Maddow also spent time snarking on the governor of Oklahoma in the show’s focus of reassuring liberals that they’re so smart and we ‘re so dumb. She even punctuated her comments with exclaimations under her breath. Frankly, it’s very time consuming how much and how often she thinks liberals need that.

I sympathize with Somerby’s frustration. I don’t like msny of the folks he likes, but I understand how a good man would want the people he admires championed a bit…by liberal pundits. To the point of at least clarifying media memes about them.

Rachel’s got no time for that. She’s comfy cozy no matter what, and seems to think she’ll stay that way as long as her audience believes that they are too.

    • Me, too. And Howie actually pronounced Sharyl’s name correctly.

Based on the “Sunday talkers: preview” link I read here yesterday, Betsy Woodruff and Richard Fowler were scrapped in place of Ben Carson. Woodruff and Fowler were listed as guests in the link.

      • I listened to Up on MSNBC. It’s not as good without Kornacki there.

Kornacki isn’t a meme-driven political advocate, and he understands and addresses nonliberal views.
