  1. The Duggar news has made it across the Pond this morning, with strong emphasis on the FRC and Huckabee, and a few fingers at FOX and Santorum. BBC has noted even FOX is even covering the story.

    • Has the BBC caught up with stories of Muslim rape gangs victimizing thousands of underage non-Muslim girls – like in Rotherham? It’s in their own country, not here like Dugger. Any stories on why the local leftist governments worry more about being PC or being called racist than protecting these girls?
Checking their web site, I did not see the word Muslim nor much analysis of the government inaction. I searched under Rotherham rape.

      • Reporting intensified to delight in any misery of those not sharing their belief system. Pretty much the core of all trolls.

        • You’d think that a personality type that is innately inclined to enjoy piquing people would be the most brilliant internet troll.

It’s interesting that this is not the case. “A natural” stands out too much in a way that is not the case for those internet militants who have had to hone troll techniques and a sense of subtlety in them.

  2. Turner. A great visionary. Created cable news. A happy birth until we discovered it was Rosemary’s baby.

  3. Just saw an attorney brought in as an ‘expert’. When asked if the Prosecution can appeal the not guilty verdict, she replied ‘They absolutely can’.
I don’t know who Rebecca LeGrand is but I wouldn’t hire her to get my dog out of the pound.

  4. Since Mike C. has left, I will post the O’Reilly History Quiz for him. It’s Billy the Kid, and I have no idea how to embed it: http://www.billoreilly.com/quiz?categoryID=3 I will try to do this until Mike is able to return. It is the least that I can do. By the way, I got 8 of 10, missed 2 and 10.

    • 1 of 10….wonder if that’s because I NEVER watch westerns. Gee I can usually guess better than that even when I haven’t watch the news all week.

    • I’m back. Since Legends & Lies began, each O’RHQ is centered around that week’s episode. Since I’ve only seen one, David Crockett, I only linked to one.

Thank you for linking in my absence.

      • Glad to see you back, Mike. I was glad to provide the links for you. Hopefully, the roach is gone. I bought the companion book to “Legends & Lies.” It’s an interesting read.

  5. Re: MediaBuzz videos: … Dave”: I thought irony and snark didn’t pollute the discourse until Jon Stewart first hosted The Daily Show. Though I couldn’t stand Dave’s politics, the early years of show helped get me through middle and high school. After the infamous O’Reilly interview in January 2006, my view of Dave soured, but not to the point that I didn’t watch when guests I liked, mainly comedians and Regis Philbin, were on.

  6. Rev. Al is coming to Cleveland. Though less than a hour away, I won’t hunt for my autograph book.

    • Our most popular link this weekend too. Makes some valid points along with repeating some dubious and/or descredited memes. (Ten years ago people were predicting Fox’s audience would age out of existence and yet today it is as dominant in the 25-54 demo as ever. Sounds like they’re using the ‘global warming’ models.)

      • The same people predicting this were the same predicting the end of Republicans. Still predicting I suppose on Twitter regardless of evidence. Hope springs eternal.

  7. This weekend’s most popular links:
    5 Ted Turner
    4 big bad Fox
    3 Rev fat-shames
    2 impact coverage
And the most popular links in this weekend’s links…
1 What liberals still don’t understand about Fox News.

  8. Lily Langtry was in for Jenna Lee. She brightened up what is usually a sad day for me.
