  1. Not sure Eboni is a good fit for Fox and Friends. Too subdued. I would rather see her on The Five, taking the liberal seat.

    • I agree with this following statement in a J$ tweet –

. . . Trump tweets did not “demand” anyone be fired. He said Brian Ross ‘should be fired’ (not exactly a “demand”) and regarding the CNN journalists he said “watch to see” if they’re fired—also not a “demand”.

  2. Here’s a clip from this morning’s F&F which shows Eboni at her most argumentative. Can’t really blame her reacting as she did, and I didn’t see any other segments that got as tense as this did. Based on what I saw I think she did pretty well, but it wouldn’t hurt her to soften her edge just a tad. (The same with Pete Hegseth, who apparently has to call the NY Times ‘failing’ every single time he mentions it.)

    • I think FOX should just get Conservative anchors to host their Morning Shows since the show bashes Liberals alot
I know Eboni is an Independent but she still has alot of Liberal positions

    • She got a bit disingenuous with the bit about merely answering the sheriff about what he had asked.

Glad to see her back on Fox.

      • I don’t know if Eboni is the best fit for host on F&F weekends while Abby Huntsman is on leave (she’s much better than Rachel Campos Duffy, however) but it is great to see her back on Fox.
I don’t know if she left Fox after that show with Bolling was cancelled or if Fox cut her loose….if Fox did cut her loose that was a dumb thing to do. Eboni is a keeper.

        • Eboni and Kat clearly must have been placed on The Specialists because Fox thought highly of them and their potential, but once the show was done, they became less prominent at Fox than they were before it started.

I think Eboni made one appearance on Fox post-Specialists for three months and it was to promote her book.
It really looked like she was gone.

Fox needs more left-of-center voices and there really aren’t a lot of great options out there. Eboni is likely better than anyone else out there that they could find. They need to keep her around if they can.

    • I saw her grinding her teeth every time Pete Hegseth opened his mouth. They don’t have good chemistry, obviously. Abby Huntsman and Pete definitely do mesh.

  3. “Ah..ha! CNN never apologized for our most recent bit of Fake News!”

Poor Brian Stelter. He was more without the slightest sense of irony.

  4. After a barrage of fake news meant to get Pres. Trump impeached, media people on twitter are actually chiding Don, Jr. for scolding a photographer who tweeted out a picture that erroneously implied Trump spoke to a sparse crowd in Florida!

You cannot overestimate the pathological narcissism of our media industry.

    • There was a day when “liberal bias” just meant slight shading of reporting. Now it’s flat out dishonesty.

  5. Imagine…if you will…CNN making a mistake that impugned the Obama Administration and then having a guest on to say that such errors were indicative of the integrity of the media….

This, ladies and gentlemen, is the Twilight Zone….

  6. This weekend’s most popular links:
    5 questions for CNN
    4 refuse transparency
    3 damage control
    2 targets Megyn Kelly
And the most popular link in this weekend’s links…
1 Brian Stelter fact-checks Trump, triggers titanic twitter blowback.

  7. File under “You can’t make this up”

Show called ‘Reliable Sources’ on CNN gives pass to CNN for using unreliable sources. Further, they actually claim this is good for media trust.

I have more advice for readers. The mistake — you asked the question Brian, why should given these mistakes, why should people trust the media? I would say, the mistakes are precisely the reason the people should trust the media.
