  1. The Hollywood film producer who gave Johnny Fontane the part in the war film now says he’s ‘baffled’ why he did so.

  2. I would pay a hundred dollars to watch Jake Tapper’s candid viewing of Mr. Concha’s video.

    • I’d match you if I thought for one second that it would change Tapper’s perception that serving as the opposition party to Trump specifically and Republicans in general is the grand calling of all journalists.

        • They’re gossips, conjectures and purveyors of opposition strategy cooked up by aligned “anonymous sources” and Republicans are supposed to treat them like they’re all hybrids; part Jefferson and Jesus.

  3. Stupid question but I will ask: can sexual harassment exist when one party in the relationship is not an employee? Scottie Nell Hughes was not a paid employee or contributor. Huffington Post reporting she felt “coerced” but don’t see that works when she’s not an employee even if everything she says is true. She better have strong evidence or this sounds like an affair gone bad which they usually do.

    • I haven’t followed Payne’s FBN show that closely, but what the drums are saying is that the show underwent a revamp; many regular guests were dialed back, replaced with new people. This is when the ratings started to boom. Scottie’s departure coincides with the revamp, so at least circumstantial evidence suggests her bookings (and those of others) went down because the new format was getting better ratings.

      • I watched alot of Payne’s show when they were talking about stocks all hour

I did see alot of Scottie Nell Hughes & was wondering why she was on soooo much since she’s a political analyst & not a stockpicker, now I know =P

  4. “She has told her lawyer, who is preparing a legal complaint against Fox News and Payne, that she stayed in the relationship because she believed he would help her chances of landing a position at the network”.
    — just haggling over the price —

    • In other words a conservative Southern belle with a husband and two young children ( whom she features on her Instagram account) decides to commit extnded adultery with a married man in the belief that this would get her a paid gig on TV?
      Ummm… I think there’s a word for that.

      • A word, I believe, that Disqus tends to send to moderation. So, let’s just say “floozy.”

  5. Scottie Nell has had other problems, such as referring to a molotov cocktail as a mazel tov cocktail. It was curious she was booked so often for Payne’s show, seeing she was a political commentator and didn’t have a business background.

  6. Republican leaders need to bite the bullet and work with Democrats to fix OBAMACARE rather than replace it. Start with keeping the current taxes (to not disrupt funding) and augment with as many Republican ideas as possible. Kick the tea-party bunch to the side and get this thing fixed before it crashes completely. (and take the blame for it). Then move on to tax reform.

  7. I wonder if CNN’s Smerconish would agree that if an anonymous source reports someone doing something illegal they should reveal their name as well. The media loves to use anonymous sources all the time and in many cases they are claiming someone did something illegal. Being a bigot is terrible, disgusting, etc, but it isn’t illegal.

  8. I guess reports of its demise are not being exaggerated. 😉

Total Viewers for WED 5 July 2017
    Total day: FNC: 1,722,000 | CNN: 671,000 | MSNBC: 1,019,000 | HLN: 239,000
    Primetime: FNC: 2,718,000 | CNN: 856,000 | MSNBC: 1,983,000 | HLN: 318,000

    • Will CNN’s younger sister network start beating them again? … guess we will find out soon ….

  9. Memo to Charles Payne:
Don’t dip your pen in the company ink.

….and with Scottie Nell Hughes……her voice alone would drive me crazy

  10. Listened to “expert” Dan Senor on CBS THIS MORNING explaining Trump would not raise the issue of election meddling with Putin because time was limited and more important things to discuss. Of course… Trump opened the meeting by raising the issue. Also, unless you paid close attention, you’d never know Trump was in Poland yesterday, reaffirmed commitment to NATO defense, and had the crowd chanting “USA USA!”. My once favorite show ?

    • CNN had this same theme for days (DJT would not bring up Russia/election meddling). It will be interesting to see how they spin things after that narrative proved false.

      • the way Mike Allen just did, “Trump’s advisers knew that if he didn’t “confront” Putin over the election hacking then that would be the headline in every newspaper and on every cable news show after the meeting. It would drown out everything else they discussed and accomplished.”

Thank goodness Tucker Carlson is covering the real important stories the mainstream media is ignoring!

Tucker’s show was the #1 show last night and Fox won the day in total and Demo.

  13. ON CNN Losing to Nick at Nite : the article says it lost to Yogi Bear reruns now unless Fox News Channel , MSNBC, Nick at Nite , HGTV, USA Network, TBS, History ,ESPN, Discovery , FX, TLC , or Investigation Discovery have been airing the smarter than the average bear and not telling anyone, that’s a little off , being beaten by Friends and Full House , and murder on ID are more accurate though.

    • I think you are right…….I had amused that the nick at night movie that night was yogi bear…..but after looking I cant find that they showed that and every post I found just repeated the same line without details.
