    • I’m not sure if it was just the magic of television or just a particularly bad photo, but when I saw O’Neill interviewed on Fox last year he was a far better looking man than the pic accompanying the article shows him to be.

He was doing some heavy self-promotion that I took as a desire to get a job at FNC in one role or another, and he certainly had the handsome part going for him.

From as much as one pic can say, he doesn’t look like the same guy now.

  2. Re: “Olbermann backs off from confrontation with Bin Laden’s executioner”: After seeing the last tweet included in the link, I clicked on the tweet, then checked Keith’s profile to see how many people I follow also follow him. I assume some follow him for sports, conservatives and FNCers follow him to keep tabs, and others follow him over shared ideology. I was disappointed to see Tom Bergeron falls in the third category. When not tweeting about Dancing with the Stars or hobnobbing with celebrities, he’s hating on the president opining from the left on politics.

    • This doesn’t mean I’ve lost all respect for Tom. It just means his political POV will be in the back of my mind from now on.

      • Twitter is a touchstone for exposing the sort of media -entertainment industrial complex leftism that use to explicitly flash out only when a politician mentioned Jesus in any context that didn’t involve helping the poor or forgiving particular moral failings.

  3. Is possible to not condone violence in the context of folks lashing out at pushy journalists AND to want journalists to be held accountable for their tactics?

Can we also acknowlege how people, unfortunately, can be quickly made desperate, humiliated, and wrathful in today’s kangaroo court of social media-media?

Even when they’ve asked for it.

You don’t have to answer this because I’m going to reject any answer that doesn’t put some accountability on the media’s side too.

  4. Keith Olbermann is the Robespierre of “The Resistence”.

Ever ready to declare his moral superiority as he adjusts his lace collar and waves approvingly at the tumbrills.

    • This quote from Jim Treacher still applies –

“(Keith Olbermann) went from having his own nightly news show to recording a podcast from behind an Ikea table in the GQ break room.”

  5. Will the liberals impeach Trump? Will Trump declare marshal law? Will Trump be stabbed to death by the Secret Service? Will Marc Antony speak at the funeral… or Marc Anthony sing?

  6. Learned on MediaBuzz that Melania Trump is a Catholic. Don’t know if she always was or is a convert. First Catholic First Lady since Jackie Kennedy. Surprised the media didn’t pick up on that.

  7. This weekend’s most popular links:
    5 family is threatened
    4 misreporting news
    3 sue Media Matters?
    2 fake news smear
And the most popular link in this weekend’s links…
1 Olbermann backs off from confrontation with Bin Laden’s executioner.

    • Anyone who has seen ON THE WATERFRONT knows the risks of exposing corruption, “They got Charlie”.

      • Speaking of which, I just saw another picture of Robert O’Neill. He was being interviewed by Kennedy.

Im grateful to O’Neill for his service and courage and for taking out Bin Laden, but I’ll be honest. He’s not someone I would implicitly trust not to try and pretend his flatware was silver, or something, so I wouldn’t give him a job on cable, though he’d fit right in.

Still, he has aged a ton in a couple of years. He’s either not well, or he’s having to avoid being killed on a daily basis?
